Well, I think I will put up one more photo from our visit to West Coast Customs. There are any number of reasons to explore Burbank in the Valley. There’s the Warner Bros. studio where you can take a great tour. There’s any number of places to eat and “be cool”. If you keep your eyes open and go to Bob’s Big Boy on Friday evenings you might spot a famous car collector and comedian. You never know!
But, if you are a “car person” you really should think about stopping by West Coast Customs. Here’s a good reason why. On a recent season’s episode of their TV show they customized a Cadillac Biarritz for a local chiropractor. There’s a long plot line involved, but in the episode they had to overcome a number of interesting (to say the least) problems.
You can imagine my surprise when I looked through the windows into the shop and saw the very same car right there! It was back in for some additional work and updating, so I was told. That green on the bumper is really green and make the car stand out even under difficult lighting situations as you can see here.
The shop, by the way, is extremely clean. It is probably as clean, or cleaner, than the Porsche racing shops I visited a number of years (OK, I mean “decades”) ago in Pennsylvania. We are talking clean to the max here. I am inspired to neaten up my own garage.
