Desire Under the Elms at Lincoln College

Desire Under the Elms was produced at Lincoln College in the late 1970s. I don’t remember the actual date, although the program says it was December. I did the scenery and lights. The show was directed by Connie DiLillo. Berna Deane Grimm did the choreography. We decided that this show needed to have a two-story set, and that was accomplished using what I think was a fairly clever construction technique. The idea behind the set was that it was an “actual house” that had a magic chainsaw applied to it so that it looked as if the walls were cut away.
