A visit to Robert Moses State Park in Massena, New York is not complete unless you stop at the Eisenhower Lock on the St. Lawrence Seaway. There is a viewing spot on the north side, and a visitor center on the south side of the lock. In the photo on the right we see the ship Florence Spirit entering the lock as she makes her way to the Great Lakes.
One of the fun things is that the road onto Barnhart Island, where the park is, runs under the St. Lawrence Seaway! There is a place where you can try to snap a photo of a car driving under a ship, if you are there at the right time.
