Some days ago we were up in Montreal for a big shindig and, if you have been watching this space, you have seen a few photos. I will be putting up a new gallery in a few days, by the way. Anyway, one evening there was a bit of a drizzle and I thought I’d take a snapshot out the hotel window.
On the right is one of the better pictures. I made this with a regular Samsung S3, no big deal, and without fiddling with any fancy settings. I know it isn’t great art, but I am a bit surprised at how well it came out. You can really see the effects of the drizzle. If I had been able to use a polarizing filter I might have been able to improve it.
Well, anyway, I put this up because I thought it might be interesting, and I am impressed that it could be taken with a “telephone”.
