In the Heart of the Storm

Stormy sundown in the midst of a fantastic rain storm.
Untouched photo of a recent storm

As you know, many of the photographs that I post have been mildly touched up, usually with Photoshop. It is actually rare for a photo to go straight from the camera to the Web without some assistance. In some instances I have done extensive Photoshop work on an image, especially when it has been scanned from a 35mm slide.

In this instance things are a significantly different. A few days ago we had a rip-snortin’ storm here. It featured a big slug of rain a short time before sunset. The clouds were loaded with water, as you can see here. Frankly, it reminded me of some of the storms I saw in the Mid-West, but without the sea green effect.

What you are seeing here is a totally untouched photo. There has not been any modifications at all. No color adjustments, no rotation changes, no focus corrections. For those who are interested in the mechanics, it was snapped with a Moto G Power.
