Recently we have been posting notes and comments about activities in and around Robert Moses State Park near Massena, New York. However, that park is not the only fabulous park in the northern reaches of the state. A few miles west of Robert Moses State Park is Coles Creek State Park. It is just outside of Waddington.
Coles Creek is not a large park. But, what it misses in size it hits with quality. There are fine views of the St. Lawrence River with Canada on the other side. Campsites for both RVs, trailers, and tents are wonderfully maintained as are the picnic areas.
No doubt about it, Coles Creek State Park is a place to visit and explore.
