On the right is a photo of Lewis Hamilton’s 2010 Mercedes MP4 25A racing car with which he won the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal and the Belgium Grand Prix. This is the sort of car that you see racing on the TV (unless you are lucky and rich enough to get to an actual Formula 1 race) flying around the track at nearly 200 mph. Close up, this car is even more spectacular and expected. It is truly a precision machine.
This Mercedes, and about 130 other cars, are on display at the Donington Collection, which is adjacent to the famous Donington Raceway. The museum is reported to be the largest collection of Formula 1 race cars on the planet. To see all these cars in one place is truly stunning.
