This is a photo that I snapped in January at the Grand National Roadster show of the Shangri-La, a fabulous custom car designed and owned by Rich Dore. There is an article in this month’s Rodder’s Journal and is mostly about the Aquarius, another brilliant custom, but this car is captured in the magazine with some excellent photos.
The Shangri-La has a chassis by Art Morrison, and the body work is by the Luc De Ley. At least, that’s what the magazine article tells up.The fact is, you have to see this car in person. it is really spectacular. It is not a true “show queen” as it is actually built to be driven. Not bad, eh?
