This photo features the famous Union Pacific Big Boy 4012 which is currently on static display at Steamtown USA in Scranton, PA. 4012 is a 4884 steam locomotive, the most class of locos ever built. This engine was constructed at the ALCO factory in Schenectady in November of 1941.
This photo was taken in the late 1990s using 35mm Kodak color negative film. It has been scanned using a Wolverine film scanner and the color repaired using Photoshop.
